Momo

Sel Roti

Chapati Curry

Yomari

Yomari, one of the popular Newari food is prepared especially in the month of December. It is a fish-shaped, pointed dumpling prepared using rice flour packing sweet khoa or molasses inside. After preparing it, it is boiled and then is served with a sweet dip. It is believed that it prevents cold. Varieties of Yomori can be found around Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and some other cities as well.
