Trip Overview

Everest three passes trekking is a complete package of Everest region trekking in Nepal which offers the ultimate and complete trekking experience in the Everest region. The three pass trek offers the trekkers with stunning scenery and incredible views with ultimate and complete trekking experience in the Everest region. This  trip is a physically demanding trekking adventure which crosses 3 high passes linking the four distinct valleys of Bhotekoshi, Gokyo, Khumbu and Imja tse. Crossing the rugged high passes of Renjo la (5388 m), Cho La (5380 m) and Kongma La (5535 m) with climbing of the three peaks of Gokyo Ri (5483 m), Kalapathar (5545m) and Chukung (5550 m) and the hike to EVEREST BASE CAMP makes this trek the incomparable and unforgettable trekking experience in Nepal.

This trek takes us to the Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar, Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri and high mountain passes. More importantly, this route introduces trekkers to the remote and untouched  Nangba  La Valley, the Sherpa village of Marlung and the monastery village of Thame. Moreover, trekkers tread on world famous routes while crossing three high passes Kongma La (5,535/18,159ft),  Cho La (5420m/17,782ft) and  Renjo La (5,340m/17,520ft).

This adventure is an ideal choice for a true adventure seeker looking for a challenging trek in the Everest region which also involves crossing high mountain passes. Autumn (Sept to November) and Spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Everest High Passes Trek. Beside Lukla there is another alternative starting points for this trekking if you have more times and want to do a long trek that is either Jiri or faplu salleri for this you can customize your trip by contacting us.

Itinerary Overview

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

Day 03:Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,800m/9,187ft) 3-4 hrs

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft)  5-6 hrs

Day 05: Acclimatization Day ( 3,438m/11,280ft)

Day 06:Namche Bazaar to Thame  (3,736m/12,258ft) 4-6 hrs

Day 07:Thame to Lungden (4,368m/14,331ft) 3-4 hrs

Day 08:Lungden: acclimatization day (4,368m/14,331ft)

Day 09: Trek  to Gokyo via Renjo La Pass (4,800m/15,749ft) 6-8 hrs

Day 10: Acclimatization Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m/17,576ft)  3-4 hrs

Day 11: Gokyo to Thaknak  ( 4,600m/15,093ft)  3-5  hrs

Day 12: Trek to Zongla (4830m/15,850 ft):  via Cho La pass (5368m/17,611 ft): 7 – 8 hours

Day 13: Dzongla to Lobuche (4,940m/16,208ft) 3-4 hrs

Day 14: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,160m, 3 to 4 hours), then to Everest Base Camp (5,365m) and back to Gorakshep (3 to 4 hours)

Day 15: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192ft] and back to Lobuche (4940m/16,207ft): 7-8 hours

Day 16: Lobuche to Kongma La (5,535m/18,159ft) to Chhukung (4,730m/15,518ft): 6-7 hours

Day 17 :Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) 6- 7 hrs

Day 18: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hrs

Day 19: Fly back to kathmandu

Day 20:Reserved day

Day 21: Transfer to airport for final departure

Note: Please take care to note that your Sherpa guides  has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to your safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee  it. Weather, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. Your  Sherpa guides will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.Above itinerary are just a guideline  and easily customize-able at your preference.
