Trip Overview

Island Peak,also known as( Imja Tse) is a mountain in the Himalaya of eastern  Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak in  1951 by Eric Shipton’s party since it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. Island Peak Climbing with Gokyo and Everest Base Camp trek allows us to experience ultimate adventure at popular Everest region of Nepal. This exciting yet delightful and adventurous trekking and Island peak climbing adventure offers chance to observe excellent panoramic upclose views of Everest Himalayan ranges like Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu including Everest and other surrounding peaks from popular viewpoints like Gokyo Ri and Kalapathher. Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to 5 and 4 star hotel in Kathmandu

Day 2: Casual day for shopping and sightseeing around Kathmandu

Day 3: Flight from Kathmandu to lukla 45 min. and trek to phakding 2620 m.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar 3446 m.

Day 5: Rest day and acclimatization day

Day 6: Trek from Namche to Dole

Day 7: Trek from Dole to Machechhermo

Day 8: Trek from Mahechhermo to Gokyo

Day 9: Excrucsion to Gokyo Ri and trek to Thagnag

Day 10: Cross chola pass and Decent to Zongla and overnight

Day 11: Zongla to Labuche

Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep

Day 13: Excrusion to kalapather and Gorakshep to Dingbuche

Day 14: Dingbuche to Chukung

Day 15: Chukung to Island Peak Base Camp

Day 16: Base Camp to High Camp

Day 17: Summit island peak and back to base camp

Day 18: Island Peak Base Camp to Chukung or Dingbuche

Day 19: Dingbuche to Tangbuche

Day 20: Tangbuche to Namche Bazzar

Day 21: Namche Bazzar to Phakding

Day 22: Phakding to Lukla
