Trip Overview

Everest Base Camp Trek via Phaplu  is similar to our Everest Base Camp and Kalapathhar Trek but we start with a drive or fly from Kathmandu to Faplu instead of flight to Lukla. There are more monasteries to visit, more cultural and natural exploration with added adventure in this trip at Everest region giving  you sufficient time for acclimatization.

Everest base camp trekking is very famous for all adventure trekkers and nature lovers but not everybody is making this trip due to altitude sickness or bad weather at Lukla, each year around the peak season the weather gets sudden change and many trekkers divert to other trekking routes. So Salleri-Phaplu Everest base camp trekking route has been a good alternative of direct flying to Lukla. So by taking a jeep ride to Phaplu from Kathmandu facilitated to the trekkers to continue the long planned Everest base Camp and Everest region trekking with less worry .

Nowadays the alternatives of flying to Phaplu and Lukla have been possible with the opening of the direct road connection to Salleri a district headquarter of Solukhumbu. .The direct jeep riding of 9-10 hours connects you to Faplu &  Salleri from Kathmandu and the trek starts from Faplu and ends at Lukla or vice versa.

We initiate our Salleri Faplu Solu Everest Base Camp Trek after your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport followed by transfer to your hotel. Get introduced with our team, and head for one day sightseeing around Kathmandu world heritage sites. After arriving at Faplu, during the first four days of our trek, we cross beautiful villages like Nunthala, KhariKhola, Panggom and Paya where we visit Panggom monastery along with other monasteries, chortens, small stupas while exploring the trails with insights into plenty of Tibetan Buddhism influenced religious and cultural values.

Peak seasons for  Everest Base Camp Trek via Phaplu is during the spring season in months of March, April and May. You get to trek through magical blossoming rhododendron trees in this season. Likewise, autumn months of September, October and November displays the clear views of Himalayas. If you are physically fit and have passion towards exploring Sherpa villages all the way up to Everest base camp, then contact us now for booking and further information.
