Trip Overview

This  Trek is one of the shortest treks that follow a shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley. In 1980s Prince Charles and his group explored this path. Because of that it is called The Royal Trek.  This excursion passes the lush hills of the Annapurna territory, northern part of Pokhara.

This trek provides gigantic convenience to explore terraced fields, lakes of Pokhara city, hamlets, lavish greeneries and immersive experience of the mountains such as Dhaulagiri massifs, Nilgiri, Annapurna Ranges, Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Lamjung Himal.

Not only this you can explore diverse culture, tradition and lifestyle of the different ethnic groups. The route of this trek is less crowded in comparison to Everest and Annapurna Base camp trek. So, you can maintain your privacy.The trek begins at the lakeside of Pokhara and ends at the Begnas Lake-30 km west of Pokhara City. From children to elder ones enjoy viewing the magnificent views of the birds, animals snow clad peaks, terrains, mountain ridges, lush hills rhododendron forest and so forth.

This trek provides the opportunities for meaningful cultural experiences with the diverse mix of people and cultures that inhabit this region.The Royal trekking trip is basically recommended for beginners who are restricted by time to trek longer.

Itinerary Overview

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] and transfer to hotel

Day 02: Casual day and Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Day 03: Drive Pokhara [823m/2,700ft]: 6-7 hrs drive

Day 04: Pokhara to Kalikasthan [1,370m/4,496ft]: 1 hr drive, 4-5 hrs trek

Day 05: Kalikasthan to Syaklung [1,730m/5,675ft]:5-6 hrs

Day 06: Syaklung to Chisapani [1550m/5,084ft]: 5-6 hrs

Day 07: Chisapani to Pokhara

Day 08: Fly back to Kathmandu 25 minute

Day 09: Transfer to airport for final departure
