Trip Overview

Hidden among the legendary mountains in the Khumbu Himalaya, Nirekha Peak 6159m, is an interesting and challenging climbing experience.It has not been long since Nirekha Peak (6159 m) was open for climbing. More technical, less popular and less crowded than the Labuche Peak,Island Peak or Mera Peak, Nirekha Peak can be your perfect adventure in the Himalaya of Nepal if you prefer less crowed peak climbing Experience. .This climb is an achievable climb for anyone with good physical fitness, basic knowledge of rock and ice climbing and having an ambition to experience high altitude adventure.

The best season for Nirekha Peak climbing is from March to May (Spring) and from September to November (Autumn). However, winter is also a great time to climb if you are well prepared for the cold weather. In the crisp and cold month of December, the views of the mountains are crystal clear and there are fewer tourists around. Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

Day 03:Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,800m/9,187ft) 3-4 hrs

Day 04:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft)  5-6 hrs

Day 05: Acclimatization Day ( 3,438m/11,280ft)

Day 06:Namche Bazaar to Thame  (3,736m/12,258ft) 4-6 hrs

Day 07:Thame to Lungden (4,368m/14,331ft) 3-4 hrs

Day 08:Lungden: acclimatization day (4,368m/14,331ft)

Day 09:Trek  to Gokyo via Renjo La Pass (4,800m/15,749ft) 6-8 hrs

Day 10: Acclimatization Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m/17,576ft)  3-4 hrs

Day 11: Gokyo to Thaknak  ( 4,600m/15,093ft)  3-5  hrs

Day 12: Thagnak to Nirekha Base Camp (5,340 m/17,519 ft )4-6 hrs

Day 13: Rest and pre climbing training (4,950m/16,241ft)

Day 14:Move to high camp (5,930 m/ 19,455 ft )3-4 hrs

Day 15: Summit Nirekha Peak and back to Base Camp  (6,159m/20,208ft)

Day 16: Reserve day

Day 17: Nirekha Base Camp to Gokyo Lakes ( 4,800m/15,749ft )4-5 hrs

Day 18: Gokyo to Machermo  ( 4,470m/14,666ft) 6-7 hrs

Day 19 : Machermo to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft) 4-5 hrs

Day 20:  Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,187ft )    6-7 hrs

Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu  (1,350m/4,429ft)

Day 22:Transfer to airport for final departure
