Our Everest Base Camp Trek starts as you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport followed by transfer to your hotel. Next day we go for sightseeing around culturally affluent capital city of Kathmandu and complete our trekking preparations. Our trekking guide will help you in this. Everest Base Camp trek is officially initiated when we board a scenic mountain flight from Katmandu to Lukla airstrip, meet our porter team and head towards Phakding following the river banks of Dudhkoshi river. During the initial days of our Everest Base Camp Trek, we cross several suspension bridges, enter Sagarmatha National Park, walk along refreshingly beautiful rhododendron forests while making our way towards higher altitudes. In this way, we arrive at our first acclimatization day at Namche Bazar which is the popular hotspot and local trading place of the Everest region. Slowly and steadily enjoying our walk, we head towards Phortse, Tengboche or Dibuche; visit ancient monastery at Tengboche and trek further towards Pheriche. Here we set for next acclimatization which is very important before ascending above 4300 m. After our body copes with high altitude surroundings, we aim to reach Gorakshep in two days after crossing Lobuche. Then finally the very important couple of days arrives of our trek when we step at base camp of highest mountain of the world, get back to Gorakshep and also hike towards Kalapathhar hill for observing magical sunrise views of Everest, Amadablam, Lhotse, Nuptse and surrounding peaks. Thenafter we start our downhill trekking and return through Dingboche, Tengboche, Namche, Phakding and Lukla before we board a flight back to Kathmandu. Or we can also avoid flight, trek couple of days further towards Phaplu and drive back to Kathmandu.
